Evans becomes Champion as Ellinas wins at Monza
Mitch Evans has been crowned GP3 Champion of 2012 after a dramatic final round of the season at Monza. The New Zealander, who again failed to score, enjoyed the result he was looking for when Tio Ellinas passed Daniel Abt for the lead. The Cypriot, out of luck for most of the year, therefore picks up his maiden win at the last opportunity.
