Ferrari defends decision to retain Massa
Felipe Massa's recent contract renewal has been defended by Ferrari, with the Italian marque adamant that the 2008 title runner-up was the best option available. Despite a number of drivers being linked to his seat early in the season, the Brazilian improved his performances enough to convince his bosses of another year onboard.
