Stoner quickest for second day in Qatar

DOHA – Community champ Casey Stoner set a second subsequent quickest period in no cost exercise for the Huge Corrt of Qatar on Saturday, working house his position as preferred for Sunday’s floodlit season-opener.

The Australia Ford participant was 0.214sec quicker than Spain’s Yamaha celebrity Jorge Lorenzo and 0.688sec quicker than Italy’s Andrea Dovizioso, also on a Yamaha.

Stoner, who has won four periods in the great level category in six trips to the Losail routine, was unruffled by the great gusts of wind which welcomed the 45-minute time as he clocked a best duration of 1min 55.960, the only participant under the 1min 56sec level.

Less than 0.2secs divided the next five drivers — Ben Agents (Yamaha), Hector Barbera (Ducati), Dani Pedrosa (Honda), Nicky Hayden (Ducati) and Cal Crutchlow (Yamaha).

Pedrosa’s there was a time particularly amazing after he had gone down on convert nine at the 15-minute level.

Seven-time MotoGP world champ Valentino Rossi was only Tenth quickest for the second subsequent day on his under-performing Ducati, 1.314sec off Stoner’s speed.

The French language was even outshone by In in german MotoGP novice Stefan Bradl, who was 9th on his Ford.

The motorbikes will be returning to normal later Saturday for the third and last exercise time, just before Saturday’s determining.
